Detection Kit for IgG/IgM antibody to 2019-novel Coronavirus (Colloidal Gold Immunochromatography Method)
The product is used for qualitative detection of novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) IgG/IgM antibody in human whole blood, serum or plasma. After a person is infected, IgM antibodies first appear in blood then IgG antibodies bleed 2-3 weeks later.
Immunochromatographic technology is used to detect the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) IgG/IgM antibody in human whole blood, serum or plasma. The characteristic antibody in the sample binds to the antigen sprayed on the test membrane and the mixture is chromatographed to the kit’s detection lines combining to the mouse anti-human IgG/IgM antibody respectively to form an immunocomplex and form a visible line.
Please read the instructions carefully before testing.
Before use, the product and the sample should be balanced at room temperature.
Open the package, place the detection plate on a clean and flat table and add 20μl (3 drops) whole blood or 10μl serum or plasma to the sample hole.
Drop 2 drops (70-80μl) of sample diluent into the sample hole.
Wait for the red line to appear and read the test results within 10 minutes.
Positive（+): There are two red lines, one is detection line (T) and the other is quality control line (C). It indicates that the sample contains novel coronavirus IgG/IgM antibody.
Negative（-: Only one red line appears in the control line (C) and no red line appears in the detection line (T). It indicates that there is no novel coronavirus IgG/IgM antibody in the sample.
Invalid: There is no red line in control line (C) indicating improper operation such as insufficient sample volume, abnormal chromatography process, expired reagent or damaged reagent. In any case, it should be retested.
